Voltville does not exist. Its 58 charge points do — as live simulated devices on real im/precise infrastructure: a real device gateway, real OTA rollouts, and a payment terminal that really keeps crashing, on purpose.
Screenshots lie easily; a living fleet cannot. Every number in the Voltville dashboard moves because a device sent it through the same gateway real hardware uses. The demo is read-only for everyone — the restriction lives in the account's credentials, not just the UI.
The story to follow: firmware 2.4.0 crashes the payment terminal at the Highway Hub, 2.4.1 fixes it — watch the crash cluster grow, then watch the staged rollout roll through Garage North.
The chargers phone home to iot.voltville.dev — a Custom
Device Domain, so even the fictional operator gets its own endpoint.
The dashboard is the shop window. Point Claude at the fleet via the im/precise MCP server, or open the firmware in VS Code and debug a crashed charger's coredump with Pulse — against this very fleet.
